Pupils at Sunnydown School have been working with dancers and workshop leaders from Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures over the course of the Autumn term 2019. They chose to focus on Matthew Bourne’s interpretation of the Edward Scissorhands story, with its focus on ‘difference’ and presented a 15 minute dance piece in early December. The audience feedback was overwhelmingly positive, both for the achievement of the dancers and New Adventures workshop leaders (‘so proud’, ‘astonishing achievement’, ‘wonderful!’) and for the Co-Motion project (‘an amazing project!’).
