LUNG are coming to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to perform Who Cares on 23rd October. Who Cares is an award winning play made with and about young carers. They will deliver a free training session on Friday 22nd October from 1.30-4.30pm about young carers. This training is aimed at police, social workers, teachers, NHS workers and anyone who works with young people. It will cover identification, signposting and support. As part of the offer, every attendee will be invited to a free performance of the play.
LUNG makes advocacy shows to raise awareness and create training. The play is used as an identification tool in schools, and is a brilliant insight for adults into the reality of the daily lives of young carers.
