As part of the Better Lives Through Culture programme Culture Box Surrey and Surrey Arts have been able to partner with performers Dominic North and Alan Vincent, from Sir Matthew Bourne’s dance-theatre company New Adventures, to offer a unique experience to the pupils from King’s College, Guildford during July 2022.
The project was designed to encourage boys to dance, and Dom and Alan worked with a group of Year 7 and 8 boys over a period of one week exploring ideas from New Adventures’ production of The Lord of The Flies. The project culminated in a performance to friends and families. Watch the video here.
