Calling all creative 16 – 19 year olds… Come and join Watts Academy Creatives!

Calling all creative 16–19-year-olds to influence and co-produce new and exciting content in collaboration with artists, designers, and the Watts Gallery team.

Last term the Watts Creatives interviewed a contemporary artist, met with other teams across the Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village and took part in a blog writing workshop before writing their very own blog post here.

A participant’s reflections on the Autumn Term:

‘I’ve loved being a part of Watts Creatives. I really enjoyed the opportunity to work with a gallery and I liked how the project coincided with the exhibition. Interviewing Ed Boxall was of course a highlight and a really unique opportunity so thankyou for that. I’ve learnt a lot about how the gallery worked and I especially liked the discussion with Lottie from marketing as I didn’t really know a lot about that area. I’m definitely going to look into it as another career option.’

For the Spring Term, sessions begin on Thursday 20th January 2022 (term dates listed below) 5pm-6.30pm. Sessions will take place both online (Zoom webinar) and at Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village.
